Data collection
Send Web Request is designed with privacy in mind. How we handle data depends on how you use the service.
When you use the tool without an account
Your requests are sent directly from your browser to the target URL. We do not store, log, or transmit your request URLs, headers, or body content on our servers. Any “recent requests” list is stored only in your browser (localStorage) on your device.
When you create an account
We store profile and account data (e.g. email address, account identifier) and membership information so we can provide sign-in and account features.
When you use paid features (Cloud Sync / Save to Collection)
We store saved requests and collections (URL, method, headers, body, etc.) in our database so you can access them from your account. We also store subscription-related data (e.g. subscription status and billing period) to manage access.
Webhook receiver
When you use the webhook receiver (Request Bin), we store the bin URL and incoming request data (method, headers, body, query parameters) in our database so you can view it in the logs. Temporary bins expire; permanent bins are tied to your account.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for sign-in and session state when you have an account, and for preferences (e.g. theme). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Third parties
We use Stripe for payment processing when you subscribe. Stripe receives information necessary to process payments (e.g. email, account identifier in metadata). See Stripe’s privacy policy for how they handle data. Our site may also link to external resources; we are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
Retention and your rights
We retain account and saved data while your account is active. You can request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us; we will respond in a reasonable time.
